In the last month or so I started getting Access Denied You don't have permission to access "http://www.cvs.com/" on this server. I can access cvs.com from Edge and Internet Explorer on the same computer. I can access cvs.com from Firefox on another computer on the same network (my home network). I can access cvs.com from Firefox on yet another computer on another network. So the problem seems to be localized to this instance of Firefox. I tried to: - run with Add-Ons disabled - run in Safe Mode - clearing Cache and Cookies - Disabling McAfee online virus scan All to no avail. Any other suggestions? All my experiments are on Windows - 2 boxes with Win 10, 1 box with Win 7

The website uses local storage and session storage in addition of cookies, so make sure you have aren't blocking these features.

Make sure you do not run Firefox in permanent Private Browsing mode (Always use Private Browsing mode; Never Remember History).

  • Options/Preferences -> Privacy & Security
    Firefox will: "Use custom settings for history"
  • remove checkmark: [ ] "Always use Private Browsing mode"

Boot the computer in Windows Safe mode with network support to see if that has effect in case security software is causing problems.

You can create a new profile to test if your current profile is causing the problem.

See "Creating a profile":

If the new profile works then you can transfer files from a previously used profile to the new profile, but be cautious not to copy corrupted files to avoid carrying over problems.

When I start in "Safe mode with Neworking" I have no network, so that option is out. And I do not think it is the security software. I can reach that website from Edge from the same machine

Link loads fine. I think you got plugins or adblock plugins causing the issue to not allow cookie/trackers so it will not load if it can't determine your location.
