for months we have had a JavaScript popup error message that no one has been able to tell us how to correct the problem with Mozilla Firefox and this JavaScript error message. The popup appears at every startup of our desktop computer. We prefer to use Firefox as our browser, but also had JavaScript before we selected Firefox as our default browser. We do not wish to use any other browser but if some techie can't help us solve this JavaScript error we may be forced to use another browser. --- Error A JacaScript error occurred in the main process

Uncaught exception: Error: Error parsing your configuration file: C:\Users\owner\AppData\Roaming\HughesNet Usage Meter\ Status-Meter conf]: Unexpected token

Help with this nagging longtime error problem would be greatly appreciated.

That is a problem with the software (HughesNet Usage Meter) that uses this conf file, so you need to check there. I assume that HughesNet is your ISP.
