I installed firefox quantum. After that to install Firefox developer, I ran #sudo add-apt-repository ppa:ubuntu-mozilla-daily/firefox-aurora #sudo apt update #sudo apt install firefox. This replaced my existing quantum(Version 57 browser) with 58.0b4. How do I go back to the stable quantum version?

I would think by uninstalling it and pulling out any data folders left behind. I would save a copy of your profile and then try to install from Full Version Installer https://www.mozilla.org/firefox/all/ Your Linux, I understand that your type of installer (command line) will be available in the next couple of days.
