I can't use Firefox in our point of sale product line because the browser doesn't support native "kiosk" mode. When will Firefox have kiosk mode without addon?

Using Firefox in our line of products is difficult as it's not customizable from a central location. Furthermore, kiosk mode is not natively supported and requires an add-on. My enterprise would really like to use FF in our point of sale/kiosk product line but my engineering team recommends against it because kiosk mode is not natively supported.

Are there plans to include kiosk mode in native Firefox, similar to IE and Chrome?
