Whenever a new password is entered, the computer asked automatically " remember site" and if you don't quickly check "not now", it then automatically recall the user name and password to log in. I did not get to "not now" on time so that anybody who goes to the bank website can go to my account.

  • You can create a cookie "Allow" exception to keep specific cookies, especially in case of secure websites and when cookies expire when Firefox is closed.

hi tracy12, firefox doesn't save passwords automatically unless you explicitly tell it to do so on a individual basis - if you just ignore that doorhanger panel and click nothing, the password you enter on a site will not be stored! if you want to remove a password that is already stored, you can do so in the password manager: Password Manager - Remember, delete and edit logins and passwords in Firefox
