When I open my browser I'm getting the old fashioned error console displaying in a pane at the bottom of the window.

Searching for "error console", "error pane", etc., all turn up so many hits that I can't find the right one(s).

The attached image shows exactly what I mean.

I'm having the problem only in Pale Moon, which is using a different profile than my regular Firefox.

I posted this support request from Pale Moon so all the debugging information is from Pale Moon.

Palemoon is an unofficial Firefox build, so you would have to contact Palemoon for support with their software.

Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem.

  • Switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance
  • Do NOT click the Reset button on the Safe Mode start window
