Two days in a row besides mozilla being unresponsive several times a day, my tabs freeze. I cannot close them. I can tap on the "x" for the tab and it will not close. I have to restart my computer with all the tabs open. I only had two tabs open when it froze.

Have you updated to Firefox 36.0.1 ?

What were you doing at the time? The same site? Different sites?


Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web link} While you are in safe mode;

Type about:preferences#advanced<Enter> in the address bar.

Under Advanced, Select General. Look for and turn off Use Hardware Acceleration.

Poke around safe web sites. Are there any problems?
