Particular Flash video sites(YouTube and Kissanime) not working on Firefox 30. How to correct it?
I'm using Windows 8.1 x64 system. The issue seems to be only on the sites I mentioned above, since all other video sites(random sites using Flash,JW player;Yahoo! videos, Daily-motion) are working. I've tried clearing cookies, cache but nothing. I reinstalled Firefox and no change. I disabled add-ons and running in safe mode but didn't help. This problem seems to be happening with IE and chrome, but only for kissanime.com. YouTube works for them as they use html5 by default. Also the embedded YouTube player on sites(like Facebook) don't work but the native player for Facebook videos(when we directly upload to FB, it uses native player), then it works.

To all people having this problem, I tried reconfiguring network settings and it worked! Just change your DNS server address(see Google on how to change your DNS). Upvote this answer if it worked for you! :D

Create a new profile as a test to check if your current profile is causing the problem.
See "Creating a profile":
https://support.mozilla.org/kb/profile-manager-create-and-remove-firefox-profiles http://kb.mozillazine.org/Standard_diagnostic_-_Firefox#Profile_issues
If the new profile works then you can transfer files from a previously used profile to the new profile, but be cautious not to copy corrupted files to avoid carrying over the problem
http://kb.mozillazine.org/Transferring_data_to_a_new_profile_-_Firefox
There might be extensions and plugins installed by default in a new profile, so check "Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions & Plugins" in case there are still problems.
Making a new profile didn't help, YouTube videos still didn't load. Do you need any technical information?
