since upgrading the bar with links to news, maps etc has disappeared. also having difficulty downloading documents from websites. still have the old version on the laptop and have no such problems. i would like to go back to the previous version!
after upgrading to the latest version of Firefox the bar on the top left with the links to news, maps, images etc has gone. how do i reinstate this? also have had diffficulty downloading brochures from the internet (audi car brochure for example). it part downlaods and then hangs and i have to quit Firefox. this does not happen on my laptop whihc is running the previous version of Firefox.

Do you mean the white on black menus within a Google search psge, If so make http://www.google.com your home page. Mozilla changed the Firefox homepage. Also the those indicators may not come up unless you have been to the page.

thanks. clicking on google.com for homepage gives me the functions missing after the upgrade. how do i set this as my homepage?
