Why does Firefox after page loading finishes always on top of my other (currently active) application? It's driving me insane. Please help me to disable the feature.
When Firefox finishes loading a page, its window activates by itself. Even when I am in the middle of typing using another program (not Firefox). Can I disable the feature? I am happier if the page finish loading and Firefox does not send any notification (blinking or screen on top) just stay as it was, minimized or behind my current active screen/program.

try this:
-> Tap ALT key or press F10 to show the Menu Bar
-> go to Tools Menu -> Options -> Tabs -> Remove Checkmark from When I open a link in a new tab, switch to it immediately
Check and tell if its working.

This worked for me... Close Firefox. Wait 10 seconds and open Firefox.
Thanks for the tips, but it doesn't work.
I notice that it happens every time I open a pdf document. It loads and after it finishes, Firefox switches to it immediately.
It doesn't happen when I open regular html.
-> Update All your Firefox Plugins
When Downloading Plugins Update setup files, Remove Checkmark from Downloading other Optional Softwares with your Plugins (e.g. Toolbars, McAfee, Google Chrome, etc.)
-> Restart Firefox
Check and tell if its working.
