Hi, I am not familiar with Mozilla or Firefox. He was told this will replace a virus protections program like Norton and the likes. Questions is, is Firefox a comprehensive virus protection, firewall, anti phising and all of that, or did we download the wrong product, or, do we have to download something to go with it, and what? We noticed when we looked for virus protections on your site, we were transfered from your site, to other sites. Please clarify this. Sorry for the long question, but we know nothing of your program.

Thanks,

Don

Firefox does have anti-phishing and "web attack" protection, but it doesn't replace an anti-virus program or a firewall.

Firefox is a browser. It contains certain security features which you can read about here: Firefox 4 Security Features

However, your friend should still keep his AV and anti-malware programs since the Firefox 4.0 doesn't include those.

To compliment the browser's security features, I'd recommend installing Adblock Plus, subscribing to the default "Easylist" and also to the "Malware Domains" list which you'll find at the foot of this page: Adblock Plus Malware Domains together with any others you wish.
