Dipende dal perché esiste quella cartella. Se l'account è di tipo IMAP ti suggerirei di non cancellarla. Se di tipo POP3 si potrebbe provare a spostare la posta della cartella in un altra cartella e poi eliminarla (click con il tasto destro sulla cartella -> elimina)
