Hi, I had my juno account working great thru T-bird, but had to change Juno's password, - - and now I can no longer receive emails from Juno into T-bird, - - even though I've even deleted and recreated the Juno acct. in T-bird and repeatedly CAREFULLY typing in the new password which does work direct thru my internet Juno account, but no longer thru Thunderbird. If I contact Juno of this they very well might suggest that I first contact Mozilla T-bird, which is what I'm doing now. Someone, = please help me with this problem soon as possible, - - THANKS !

Do you have an anti virus? Does it have some sort of password vault or protection feature? Usually problem following a web based password change come back to anti virus product being overly helpful or protecting you from yourself.

Thanks for that kind consideration, Matt, - - I do use AVG anti-virus protection, - - but so far haven't seen any indication of it having a problem this way.

But what has helped out, at least for the past few days, is that in Thunderbird's account settings I changed the account's "encrypted" password to "normal" password,

(the same way Outlook has it set up in my account with them) - - and this change has been allowing my changed password on Juno to be recognized by my Thunderbird account,

which has now been receiving Juno's emails. Hurray for that, - - and because I knew Juno would need to know that I had changed from encrypted to normal on my password,

I did let them know about this, - - but no tech rep has responded for seeing any problem. . . . In my online research I was told that encrypted is not really necessary anymore to the incoming and outgoing server ports that have the STARTL or SSL/TLS protection. . . All has been working great, so I hope Juno finds no problem with this, - - and when I get time I plan to submit that remedy of changing password encrypt to normal for others to consider trying.

Thanks so much again, Matt, ~ wishing U the best, ~ Becky C.
