html5 video raises ALSA volume insanely high
On the latest nightly of Firefox, when viewing videos on YouTube, or any other site that offers html5 video, my sound is automatically raised, either to about 50%, or 100%. This happens both with h.264 and VP8. I've tried in safe mode, and with a new profile, to no avail. I have alsa and pulseaudio, but if I open a YouTube tab and watch alsamixer, it will jump from wherever I have it to 100% as soon as the video begins playing.
I figure I'll probably need to post a bug report, but I thought I'd try here first.
Chosen solution
I've put "flat-volumes=no" in my /etc/pulse/daemon.conf. It's not great, but it fixes the problem for now.

Check the nightly "builds" threads here - http://forums.mozillazine.org/viewforum.php?f=23 - to see what other users of Nightly, Aurora, and Beta builds have reported.
No such luck, but maybe I'll post in there after tomorrow's nightly. I don't get this issue in Chrome, so I don't think it's my system's setup.
