I opened FireFox 4 today and the button allowing access to Tab Candy was gone, and it was working last night. The only 2 programs I installed last night were AC3 Filter ( For Audio ) and RealPlayerSP. Although i did not notice if it was working last night or not, I'm guessing not.

Iv tried disabling all the plugins and themes yet the button is still gone after a restart of FF4

Thanks and keep up the good work

I installed Minefield, and am clearly using Minefield (it says Minefield Help in the Help menu), yet there doesn't seem to be any benefit over regular FF. Ctrl-T doesn't do anything special. There's nothing (I can find) in Help to explain about Tab Candy or tab organization or visual tabs or anything like that -- so nice reviews, but how do I use this blasted thing?! There's no special button (there was briefly, to the right of the plus sign, the first time I loaded Minefield, but it wasn't clickable/didn't respond, and it disappeared after I updated to the latest version 4.0b3pre of Minefield).

There OUGHT to be an option -- let some users have tab candy take over Ctrl-T, and allow other users to keep Ctrl-T as is, and use a button. My opinion, anyway. Some users aren't going to want to have to click the button. They're going to want to use Tab Candy, and want to keep using the same keystroke. Other users aren't going to want to use Tab Candy except on special occasions, if at all.

Did you bother reading this thread? (Linked by TXGuy above your posting) https://support.mozilla.com/en-US/forum/1/736763 TabCandy is a special build of Minefield,, which you can't allow to be updated. If want a newer build of that version, you need to install it from scratch whenever you want the updated version - you can't allow it to updated. If you do allow an automatic update, you'll get a standard Minefield build - not the special TabCandy build.
