Due to legacy programs I need to dual boot Win 7 in 32 bit for my CAD system and or 64 bit for everything else. Is it possible to install Thunderbird in both systems and configure it to access the same profile so I do not have to switch operating systems to access my emails. Obviously only on version of Thunderbird would be running at any one time.

If possible how do I do it?

just "change the profile location." to a drive that is accessible from both operating systems.

First you need to locate the one you are using and physically move the files and folders, then tell each Thunderbird instance where to find it.

These links should help. https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/profiles-where-thunderbird-stores-user-data?redirectlocale=en-US&redirectslug=profiles-tb#w_where-is-my-profile-stored http://kb.mozillazine.org/Moving_your_profile_folder_-_Thunderbird
