Question 1167752 : Whenever the address in the URL bar is autocompleted the clickable Visit option, ENTER and the Go to ... arrow are disabled
Related to question https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1167752 Whenever the address in the URL bar is autocompleted the clickable Visit option, ENTER and the Go to ... arrow are disabled until that address is modified. Deleting the / at the end for example fixes this but the result is that you cannot visit in a fast way the page that you wanted. You would have to type, say, 2 letters, the address gets autocompleted, hit arrow right, backspace then ENTER. All this rather than just hittting 2 letters and ENTER like it was before the update. P.S. : none of the solutions provided in that post i mentioned work (rich suggestions are not the problem, they actually help because selecting any of those works, the problem is in the basic autocompleted address) P.S. 2 : manually typing the whole address in a way that does not generate an autocomplete suggestion works (most of the time that means you also have to type the / at the end)

I must be missing something here. You want this to work ? or You do not wish it to work ? Oh by the way Mozilla calls the url bar the Awesome Bar fyi:

I thought I was as clear as possible. I want to type one or two letters, get the address autocompleted by firefox and just hit ENTER to go to that page. This is NOT working atm. Nothing happens when you press ENTER, or when you click the GO arrow, or when you click the address that appears below the 'Awesome bar' with the 'Visit' option to the right of it. It worked before. It does not work now after the last update. As long as the address currently displayed in the 'Awesome bar' is there because Firefox autocompleted it NONE of the options to actually go to that page work.
