Firefox is preventing me from accessing a school specific website due "an invalid security certificate."

I need this turned off. I will gladly risk any and all security if it means I can access websites required for school. I could not care less if Firefox is protecting me if it means I cannot go to the sites I want or need to. This is time sensitive. If it cannot be turned off, I need to know so I can stop using Firefox indefinitely.

Hi PHDinAWESOME, I'm going to ask you a few questions. If you are in a hurry, you may need to use another browser on that site for now.

Are you getting any similar errors for other sites, or it is only https://utdechoapp01.utdallas.edu:8443/ that gives you the error?

If you have been getting similar errors on many secure sites, please pause and let's investigate the source of the problem. If your system clock is correct, it's nearly always a "man in the middle" presenting Firefox with fake certificates for sites you visit. That could be your security software, proxy server, parental control, or malware/spyware.

This article may help flag up the source but, if not, I'll suggest some options for further investigation: How to troubleshoot security error codes on secure websites.

That is the only site it happens on. All I want to know is how to by-pass it. If that cannot be done, I need to know so I can uninstall it and move on to another browser.

I understand there may be potential security issues but quite frankly, that is not important at the moment.

The error is coming from a framed page, which is one possible reason why there is no "Add Exception" button when you click the Advanced button. Did you try the direct link I gave in my earlier reply?
