Hello. My pension provider Standard Life, sent me a reply to an email I sent, which contained an attachment. I didn't receive either reply or attachment. So on writing again today, I had a reply saying response was sent on 7th Aug 2014, but they were sending the original response again. I received the email explaining that, but still no attachment, and they have asked me to check 'Spam'. I have never had this problem before and don't really know what 'Spam' is and where to look for it. I have checked 'Junk' but nothing in there. So I'm puzzled and have no idea what to do or where to look. Any help you can offer will be greatly appreciated. Ray Stocks

Since it is your providers Spam filter moving your messages, you will need to get instructions from them on using their filters.

Thunderbird does not create or use a Spam folder but your email provider probably does. Go to your email providers web mail page and log into your account there. You might be surprised what you find in the Spam folder if you have never checked it.

I've checked my email provider and lo and behold there were emails I'd never seen before, but also some of the emails should have gone into my inbox. How do I stop the one's I need from ending up as Spam, and yet proper unsolicited Spam going into the Spam folder? If you were the provider 'Airmail' of the previous helpful answer, I thank you very much and bow to your knowledge. Ray Stocks
