In Firefox v26, what happened to the "send link" choice on the right click context menu? I need this feature.

In upgrading to Firefox v26, I have noticed that the "send link" option is not on the right click context menu. What happened to this option? Can this be fixed? I use this feature often.

THANKS.

Thanks for your reply. I also did some further research and found the following add-on which addresses this problem more directly:

https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/send-link-in-context-menu/?src=ss

Using the right-click menu is faster and requires fewer clicks.

Thanks,

There is an Email Link item on the menu, either:

  • orange Firefox button
  • classic File menu

This should generate an email with the address of the page you are viewing. Is that what you were looking for?

If the email does not open, you might need to update Firefox's setting for your email program/site. This article has the steps: Change the program used to open email links.
