Just updated my system to Windows 7 and have a fresh install of Firefox 14.0.1 I noticed that in addition to the very annoying 'certificate error' for about every page I go to, Firfox cant seem to load any graphics on Facebook. Just text. I've tried solutions on the forum including this:

Reload web page(s) and bypass the cache to refresh possibly outdated or corrupted files.

Press and hold Shift and left-click the Reload button.
   Press "Ctrl + F5" or press "Ctrl + Shift + R" (Windows,Linux)
   Press "Cmd + Shift + R" (MAC)

Clear the cache and the cookies from sites that cause problems.

"Clear the Cache":

Firefox > Preferences > Advanced > Network > Cached Web Content: "Clear Now"

"Remove Cookies" from sites causing problems:

Firefox > Preferences > Privacy > Cookies: "Show Cookies"

Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).

Don't make any changes on the Safe mode start window.

None of the above worked in resolving my issue. Is there another work around? I find it ridiculous that after a fresh install the first thing I have is problems with Firefox. I am not having any of these problems with other browsers like Chrome, Safari or IE.

Help?

First, update to Firefox 15.0.1. Update Firefox to the latest release

After that, check your computer's date and time.

Which security software (firewall, anti-virus) do you have?

Some security software intercept secure connections and send their own certificate.

Some examples are ESET and Bitdefender.
