How do I change the default Folder when I press Ctrl-D?

more options

I don't use hierarchical organizations with my bookmarks, so if I put them all in the Bookmarks Menu (the default when I press Ctrl-D), they will be an overwhelmingly long list whenever I open that menu. Thus, it makes sense to put them in the Unsorted Bookmarks folder, just as if I had clicked on the star icon. But I have to specify this every time I press Ctrl-D.

I use the keyboard a lot, and it doesn't make sense to use the mouse (a track pad, actually) just to bookmark a page, since I bookmark a lot of pages.

Thanks, thats almost what I want, since it remembers my selection of folder when I create a new bookmark, except a bit overkill. I like most of the default behavior on Firefox for now, I just want to be able to set the default folder for new bookmarks when I press Ctrl-D.

Not to mention that that extension has a (smallish) bug that under Ubuntu Linux the Edit Bookmark dialog has a ghost shadow above it, and no little triangle connecting it to the star. That's a small thing, but it is kind of ugly. I attach a screenshot of that bug.
