My pc crashed but before it did I had save the profile from firefox 3.6. I had a lot tabs open. Now I installed firefox again, and copied the bookmarks file, places.sqlite from old profile to the new profile. Bookmarks were restored. But what do I copy from my old profile, to restore all the tabs that were open, before the crash.

Is there an add-on or app to restore history, bookmarks and especially tabs from that user-hostile places.sqlite, if sessionstore has been destroyed? I am NOT referring to saving future histories, bookmarks and tabs!

places.sqlite DOES have the data, but it is in hex and unless you can read hex, not useful for restoring the history.

Places.sqlite stores the bookmarks and the history and you can inspect both in the Library (Bookmarks & History Manager).
