I try to access my email account through Thunderbird and a message keeps appearing that my password is incorrect. It is the same one that I just used. This happened a week ago and then it just seemed to resolve itself. Help me resolve this.

Help me reset my password so that I can access my emails through Thunderbird. I use Thunderbird to send and receive email and it is now all frozen up and tells me that my password is wrong. My Gmail POP and SMTP stopped working today. I updated to Thunderbird 91 and changed the following settings:

1. Select the `Account Settings` menu item from the `Tools` menu.

2. Click on your Gmail account and choose `Server Settings`.

3. Change the `Authentication method` pop-up menu to `OAuth2`.

4. Click on your `Outgoing Server`. Click the `Edit` button and change the `Authentication method` pop-up menu to `OAuth2`.

That solved the problem for me.
