Delete emails after they are deleted from trash can. (Restore folder)
Hello,
I need some help with Thunderbird.
Is there a way to delete emails further after i've deleted them from the trash can in Thunderbird. Just like i can with Outlook, when you first click on the 'deleted items' folder you can click on 'Recover items deleted from this folder' so emails deleted from the trash can are not really gone and i often delete the recoverable mails there in Outlook.
Is there a way to access this recoverable item folder from Thunderbird and even delete the emails that are still in the recover folder otherwise they are not really gone.
Thanks in advance.

What happens on the hotmail/outlook/live web site is not something that can be controlled from Thunderbird. There are standard options for interacting with mail servers that are defined in the POP and IMAP protocols. This action is not one of them. Microsoft has decided that their users want to recover what they delete. So you will need to look on their web site for a setting to disable that. It is in no way related to Thunderbird. It is a feature of the Hotmail/outlook/live web site.

Screenshot example of outlook.
File menu > compact will permanently erase all hidden unpurged remains of deleted mail from all folders.
That does not fix the problem, my trash can is empty in Thunderbird but when i login on outlook and go to my trash can i still get the option to recover the emails i will provide 2 more screenshots in 1 file to show you which folder i mean.
So from this new printscreen; on the left you can see my Deleted Items folder that's already empty same on Thunderbird... But in Outlook i get the option to view a list of deleted emails from the trash can (so the emails are still not fully deleted). And that's shown on the right side as Recoverable Items.
So is there a way to get the recoverable items folder into Thunderbird so i can delete the emails permanently?
Because it seems like after i've deleted everything out of my trash can, thousands of emails still go into the Recoverable Items folder and are still not permanently deleted.
