Using this button, I cleared the address or search input field and clicked the middle mouse button to paste the text. It was very fast. Now I need to clear the field with the keyboard, because If I select the entire text in the address field, it will replace the previously copied text.

Use Ctrl+U to clear the fields after gaining focus of either the urlbar or the search bar.
