How do I delete/add bookmarks from/to dropdown menu in address bar Mac v.53.0.3?
Mac Airbook with Firefox v53.0.3. I have been trying to figure out how to delete some old bookmarks from the dropdown menu in the address bar in the browser. The solutions on the Mozilla support site show a different configuration of choices or arrangement of boxes than I see on my version. For instance when I choose an address from the dropdown menu (in a new tab) the star to the right of the Search box does not light up/change color. When I click on "Remove bookmark" (at the bottom of the open box vs the top as it shows in the Mozilla Solution)...nothing happens. The bookmark remains.
I would like to delete a couple of these dropdown bookmarks and add a couple more. Is 10 the maximum limit of bookmarks in the dropdown menu?
Thank you for your assistance. It is very much appreciated.
Cheers to All

There's definitely not a 10 bookmark limit. However, there are some "smart" folders such as "Recently Added" or "Most Visited" that only show a set number of entries.
Since I'm a Windows person, I'm going to use the term "right-click" although on your Mac pointing device it might be Ctrl+click or something else.
To delete a bookmark listed on the menu, you usually can use right-click > Delete directly from the menu without having to open the page.
If you click a bookmark and it loads a page but the blue star is not present, this usually indicates that the bookmarked address redirected. On some sites, it might have been an HTTP address but the site now uses HTTPS, and in other cases, the pages might have been reorganized. Unfortunately, the blue star trick doesn't work in those cases, but they should be rare.
I think you might have had some other questions as well, but does that help get you a little further down the road?

Thanks very much. The Mac solution on the Airbook is, specifcally
Shift-Control-Delete from the menu bar itself as you pointed out.
I'll dive into adding later this evening.
Again...much appreciated and mucho gusto!
