Tab refreshes when I click on it even though I don't want it to

I have multiple tabs open on Firefox. As I move from one to the other, the tab, instead of merely showing exactly where I was on that tab previously, refreshes itself. I don't really want the tab to do this anyway, but what makes it worse is that the tab usually refreshes either to the wrong place on the page or a much earlier place in my history than where I was on that tab last. Is there a way to stop this? Also it does not appear to be some sort of website auto refresh. It happens on any site and or tab.

Hi

The behaviour of tab loading in Firefox for Android has changed recently. You may not have seen it as you are running an older copy of Firefox for Android.

I recommend you update your copy of Firefox for Android. You can read how to do this here.

I would always recommend that you keep Android apps up to date as that is the best way to get security and stability fixes, but also to see new features.

I hope this helps, but if not, please come back here and we can look into a different solution for you.
