On the website Twitchy.com, the embedded tweets appear as horizontal lines in Firefox v.35.0.1. How can I fix this?

The site works fine in IE and Chrome. As the page is loading, the embedded tweets show up just fine, but after a few seconds, they switch to horizontal lines. Hovering the mouse pointer on a line produces a tooltip that says "Embedded Tweet".

Try Firefox beta or another profile to see if its fixed in the next version. I tested it with the beta version and it loads fine. https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/channel/

Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem.

  • Switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance
  • Do NOT click the Reset button on the Safe Mode start window

Tried both suggestions. Problem still occurs in Safe Mode, with all add-ons and extensions disabled, and in Firefox Beta.

Oh well. I'll just view Twitchy on my Android
