I have used Thurderbird more than 6 years and it was really good for me without any complaints. However, I updated the email from Supernova to Nebular (128.2.3esr (64-bit) yesterday and I got the following message and I cannot receive any emails now. Fortunately, sending is no problem.

"Sending of username did not succeed. Mail server pop3.mailplug.co.kr responded: invalid command"

I searched the previous similar issues in the forum and I checked my status. However my own was the right one that people recommend.

Receiving Server: pop3.mailplug.co.kr / Port: 995 / SSL/TLS / Normal password Sending Server: smtp.mailplug.co.kr / Port: 465 / SSL/TLS / Normal password

Actually, I am using several pop email apps but I have no any issues on those apps except for the Thunderbird. The problem is Thunderbird is my main app. I am alternatively using outlook but really want to return to Thunderbird. Could you anyone help me out?

Most of the time Thunderbird is very slow, taking minutes to log in, minutes to download tiny messages, but sometimes is quick. Sometimes Thunderbird complains the password is wrong, but after three retries it accepts the password. Only occasionally it is quick as I'd expect. This has been happening for several months. I had hopes Thunderbird would find and fix the issue without challenge, but as the issue continues I am now raising it formally.

To prevent my inbox becoming very large I have created a folder called Archive and several subfolders such as 2021, 2022, 2023 etc.

Every few months I move old files from an earlier year into its appropriate subfolders.

I've been doing this for at least 10 years. When a folder is about 5 years old it is deleted.

My problem is that today I'm unable to move emails from my inbox to an appropriate subfolder. I get no response. It simply doesn't work as it used to.

Any suggestions gratefully accepted

Firefox automatically adding the https to our internat Intranet and I cannot access it. Auto adding the https is off. This site is only available within our firewall. I have had access forever until recent updates have made it impossible to access it.

I type in the URL: ourintranet/ and that has always gone to the site. Now, it is changing it to https://ourintranet/ when I hit enter...never done this before. I have this setting: Don’t enable HTTPS-Only Mode enabled.

I starting having trouble getting Firefox to open last week on a win 10 PC. I could only open a window if I ran as administrator. If I got a window open, then it would not go to any website I tried. I thought it was issues with my PC because it is old and I was having other issues as well. I got a new Win 11 PC and fire fox opened when I first downloaded it but now, I can't get it to open again. It is my preferred browser of choice. Any help on this? TIA, Stephanie

How can this be fixed? Or must I leave Firefox for good?

Hello, I've encountered a weird issue with my Firefox browser. If I touch ANY key on my keyboard (mouse is fine) while it is the focused window, it will crash instantly. No question or hesitation. Started at least a week ago, but not sure since I don't type much on this browser, so earlier crashes (very few) could correlate too. Having to use Chrome to actually make this post.

Yes it is updated. Yes I tried opening a second window (crashes both). Yes I tried opening a second window in incognito (crashes both). Yes I've tried safe made by holding Shift while opening. Still crashes, every time.

This past week or two I suddenly have started having trouble connecting to anything connected with Mozilla as well as a few other websites. I didn't notice until I received a notice about a recent Firefox update but Firefox wouldn't update. I ended up uninstalling and reinstalling Firefox and now in addition to that and loosing all my saved themes, add ons, bookmarks, passwords, etc. I can not even add on anything such as ad blockers for example. I am not sure what changed or maybe I made a minor change and forgotten about it but it's very frustrating. I have gone on here searching and trying suggestions using a chrome because I can't do much on Firefox now but I've gotten nowhere. Please Help!

I Did not change anything. My settings are: Server Type: POP Mail Server Server Name: outlook.office365.com Port: 995 Connection Security: SSL/TLS Authentication Method: OAuth2

Update (11/18/24 12:58) At 11:00 today all of a sudden, I got all my messages from Outlook (Hotmail), but nothing since then again. I do not know what is going on. Is it the Thunderbird's problem or Outlook's. Outlook support claims everything is OK on their side.

Update (11/18/24) 17:11 No emails are coming from Outlook. I THINK THIS VERSION OF THUNDERBIRD (128.4.3esr (32-bit)) IS BAD. ACTIVITY MANAGER SHOWS OUTLOOK CONNECTION TIMEOUTS FROM 3 HOURS AGO. THUNDERBIRD IS SUPPOSED TO DOWNLOAD EMAILS EVERY 5 MINUTES! I EMPTIED TRASH AND THIS EVENT WAS POSTED TO ACTIVITY MANAGER ALONG WITH 2 OTHER EVENTS SAYING THAT 2 OF MY LOCAL FOLDERS WERE DELETED WHICH I NEVER REQUESTED.

CAN SOMEBODY IN MOZILLA SUPPORT TAKE A LOOK AT THIS RELEASE PLEASE AND SEE WHAT IS GOING ON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

J'ai un problème depuis ce matin avec thunderbird. Je n'ai absolument plus accès à la messagerie et ne peux plus rien faire avec l'application (installée sur Mac). Tout d'abord, voyant ce problème, j'ai redémarré l'ordinateur, pensant que l'application s'était mal ouverte. Ensuite, comme rien n'avait changé, j'ai pensé que le problème venait de la mise à jour de l'ordinateur, alors je l'ai effectuée. L'ordinateur a redémarré, seulement, le problème persiste. J'ai téléchargé en double l'application thunderbird afin de pouvoir utiliser de nouveau mes boites mails en faisant bien attention à ce qu'il n'efface pas l'ancien. Le nouveau fonctionne mais pas l'ancien et j'avais tous mes mails en dossiers locaux que je dois absolument récupérer ! L'application fonctionnait très bien vendredi.

Ci-joint une copie de ce qui est affiché sur l'application et donc sur mon écran. Peu importe sur quoi je clique, rien ne fonctionne, y compris sur le menu du haut. Quelqu'un saurait ce qu'il se passe et comment récupérer toutes mes données s'il vous plait ?

Specifically, when I attempt to import an `.ics` file containing multiple events into my Google Calendar through Thunderbird, only the first event is imported; the subsequent events are not added. However, when I import the same `.ics` file into a local calendar within Thunderbird, all events are imported correctly.

Steps to Reproduce: 1. Open Thunderbird and navigate to the Calendar section. 2. Ensure that a Google Calendar is integrated and active. 3.
