Hi!

I'm havin problems with firefox at this moment. I have a pc that runs Win 7 Ultimate SP1 with latest updates.

The PC is made of: MB: ASUS P5QC CPU: INTEL XEON X5472 (with modifier) RAM: 2x4GB RAM ~1500MHZ GPU: Radeon 7770 Winchester: 256GB Samsung

most of these doesn't matter to this thread, but it can be helpful to know.

So, the problem is: I have installed the Firefox, went into advanced options, and selected out the 64bit one, and it did install it, but not just that. It installed the Developer Edition too, which takes up at least 25-30% of my cpu ALL THE TIME(even when mozilla isn't running cuz i kill it in the task manager), and it takes up at least 30-50% of the dataflow to the winchester.

So, the problem is, i dont want the developer edition, just the regular firefox. I tried to install a later version, but ofc it updated itself, and got the Developer Edition. Let me clear something. I DON'T NEED THE DEVELOPER EDITION, BECAUSE I WON'T DO ANY CREATIVE WORK IN THE NEAR FUTURE, if i wanted it, i would download it myself. Yeah, it's a good chance to get the updates earlier than most user, cuz it gets it 2 week faster then regular, but i dont like it when the Mozilla eats up all the resource of the PC, let alone when i'm playing something, it makes fps dips in it too, which causes it to be hardly playable.

Thanks in advance, Sakymaci

Szia! Tölts le egy új telepítőt innen: https://www.mozilla.org/hu/firefox/new/?scene=2

Egyébként a „winchester” szót azt csak itthon értik, legközelebb próbálkozz a „hard drive”-val :)
