New TB update 31.2.0 broken -- fails to get new mail
After auto-updating to the new 31.2.0, my TB no longer fetches mail, and complains about not being able to 'copy' a sent email to the 'sent' folder ..
I am running in IMAP mode to the mail server..
Any clues.. on how to remedy this?

Hi Matt.. thanks for the reply.. I have managed to fix things as of today.. after reading the forums and such it appeared several users found problems with the upgrade loosing sub directories and such, and were able to correct most of these with a 'repair folder' on the errant tree..
I was able to 'repair folder' on the main INBOX folder, and this fixed the anomaly on my system...
All is well once again.. :)

Hi. We noticed that the troubleshooting information was missing from these questions. In order to better investigate this issue, we may need to request a little more non-personal information.
Please add the troubleshooting information to your post as well as the results of the following troubleshooting steps:
- Finding the Troubleshooting information
- Does Thunderbird work in TB Safe mode (see Thunderbird Safe Mode)?
- What is the Thunderbird version?
- What operating system do you use (e.g. Windows 7)?
- Do you use anti-virus and firewall software? What is the version?
- Do you use Thunderbird add-ons?
- Who is the email provider?
- Who is the internet provider?
- What is the exact error message?
- What steps did you take right before this happened?
With this information we can better investigate and get a better idea of what may be causing the issue.
Please post back with this information and any other questions you might have.
To diagnose problems with Thunderbird, try one of the following:
- Restart Thunderbird with add-ons disabled (Thunderbird Safe Mode). On the Help menu, click on "Restart with Add-ons Disabled". If Thunderbird works like normal, there is an Add-on or Theme interfering with normal operations. You will need to re-enable add-ons one at a time until you locate the offender.
- Restart the operating system in safe mode with Networking. This loads only the very basics needed to start your computer while enabling an Internet connection. Click on your operating system for instructions on how to start in safe mode: Windows 8, Windows 7, Windows Vista, Windows XP, OSX
- If safe mode for the operating system fixes the issue, there's other software in your computer that's causing problems. Possibilities include but not limited to: AV scanning, virus/malware, background downloads such as program updates.
