Is there an add-on (or procedure) that can check how many currently installed add-ons will have a compatible version in the upgrade, prior to upgrading?
Just tried to upgrade to FF4 RC1. It was a disaster. At least half of my add-ons were disabled because there are currently no compatible versions.
Usually I wait a few months after a version release to upgrade, but was anxious to see FF4. I also didn't have enough sense to back up my profile first (the last backup was in January).
Luckily I was able to revert to 3.6.15, but have a couple of menu customization add-ons I now have to reconfigure.
Anyway, is there an answer to my question or a procedure by which I can check without having to search each add-on page by page?

See this page for a Firefox 4.0 Addon Compatibility Report for the most popular extensions that are hosted at the AddonsMozilla.Org website.

Probably easiest to use the Find bar to locate each extension you want to check, as that page isn't in alphabetical order.
