Hello,

I changed on my desktop system from classic Firefox (Rapid channel) to the Firefox ESR-version. And now I search a firefox ESR-version for my Android-smartphone.

--> Does also an ESR-version exist for Andoird like for desktop systems?

Thanks a lot for a short reply! Best regards, Martin

Chosen solution

ESR is short for Extended Support Release and was made for Enterprise users in mind as they like to have longer term stability. Generally the desktop Firefox ESR versions are not targeted towards regular Firefox users. However the Windows 7, 8, 8.1 and macOS 10.12, 10.13, 10.14 OS users are being served Firefox 115 ESR because Fx 116.0 and later dropped support.

The Android Firefox is for phone and tablet in mind so a ESR channel is not something enterprise users need much.
