Hello. The question in hand is how to get more cleaner and modern look for Thunderbird. And I know there are thousands of themes and add ons, but they still have all the stuff that I (and friends) don't want to have there.

First thing would be the small icons on the left side in the folder pane. Like the stamp? icon for 'Sent' folder. Why? How to remove all of them and just have the folder name and the number of emails in those folders?

Secondly, how to change fonts and sizes in the Thread pane where all the message subject lines are displayed. Also, how to make it bigger and cleaner looking. Also, how to have Outlook look for that, where the message has a subject line and another line from the message itself in it.

Is there a way to 'enhance' the visibility of the Inbox folder name. Like a bold font or just be bigger and more catchy to the eye. When there are tens of folders and multiple email accounts, the most important stuff gets lost in the 'noise'.

Is there a way to have all those things or a general overhaul on the whole look of Thunderbird. It's just not up to the modern times I would say. There is way too much small icons and all kinds of crap that fill the screen and draw your attention away from important stuff. Look into any other company. The cleaner their product is the better it sells. Any way to do those things or should we start looking for a more up do date looking email clients?

Thank you.

You could develop you own Theme, or find a developer to do it for you.

If you want a product that looks like outlook, Microsoft will be more than happy to supply it for a price.
