After I restore a MozBackup profile for Thunderbird, and open it, nothing has changed -- emails are not there. What could go wrong?

I need to use another computer while I fix the one I'm using. I backed up Thunderbird with Mozbackup, and restored from that backup on the temporary computer. Specifically, the backup included emails. However, when I open Thunderbird on the temporary computer, the emails aren't showing. I used all defaults for MozBackup. What could I be doing wrong?

There is some possibility that you have more than one profile on your temporary computer. Look at https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/profiles-tb#w_how-to-find-your-profile and then look in the same directory to see if there is another ********.default file.

If so, see https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/using-multiple-profiles to switch to the other profile.
