About a week ago, I started getting Chinese characters at the top of my firefox browser tabs. During a session, the amount of characters is small, but as I open new tabs, the length of the characters expands horizontally across the top of my webpages. Eventually, I can barely access all the pages I have open and I have to close all tabs and being again. I have tried uninstalling firefox and reinstalling, but the problem persists. What can I do? I have scanned for viruses/malwarre, but nothing has come up. I googled the problem and it appears a few people have written about the same occurence over the last couple of weeks. I use windows 7.
