How to move the content inside of a window left or right? My pet stepped on keyboard .Page is too far to the right and upward a bit. Can not see or use the portions that are now too far to the right and at the bottom of the visible window. Using ALT+ Space bar moves the whole window. Need to move what is "inside" the window to the left to be able to see & use content.

Problem SOLVED!

I was able to move the content of the window by pressing and holding down CTRL Pressing and holding down > Then pressing the + button as many times as needed to move the window :-)

THANK YOU cor-el for all the help you tried to provide to solve my problem.

Reset the page zoom on pages that cause problems, make sure that the window is not maximized:

Thank you cor-el However, the answer did not solve the problem.

Could the problem be the size of the Java frame?

I have included a screenshot of the pogo game crazy cakes as an example.

The keyboard shortcut won't work if a Java applet has focus, so you may need to click elsewhere in the user interface.

Did you try to use the menu item to reset the zoom or to zoom out?

I did use the view, reset feature.

It did not solve the problem.

Zooming in or out does not make the unseen portions on the screen to the right and down viewable or accessible for use. Zooming in and out just makes the viewable content larger and smaller.

Reload web page(s) and bypass the cache.

  • Press and hold Shift and left-click the Reload button.
  • Press "Ctrl + F5" or press "Ctrl + Shift + R" (Windows,Linux)
  • Press "Cmd + Shift + R" (MAC)

You can check if the minimum font size has been increased from the default setting "none".

  • Tools > Options > Content : Fonts & Colors > Advanced > Minimum Font Size (none)

Make sure that you allow websites to choose their fonts.

  • Tools > Options > Content : Fonts & Colors > Advanced > [X] "Allow pages to choose their own fonts, instead of my selections above"

You can try to reset the preferences:

As a last resort you can try "Forget About This Site" via the right-click context menu of a History item of that site in the sidebar or History manager, but that will remove stored passwords as well, so be sure to make a note of them.

When I right clicked on the window that is shifted to the right and down the adobe flash came up. Could adobe Flash settings possibly be the problem?

From this page: http://help.adobe.com/en_US/FlashPlatform/reference/actionscript/3/operators.html#bitwise_left_shift_and_assignment

I do not know how to perform the directions below. Any and all help is greatly appreciated. Thank you VERY MUCH for all of your suggestions cor-el!!!!

<<= bitwise left shift and assignment Operator Usage

expression1 <<= expression2

Language Version: ActionScript 3.0 Runtime Versions: Flash Player 9

Performs a bitwise left shift (<<=) operation and stores the contents as a result in expression1. The following two expressions are equivalent:

A <<= B A = (A << B)

Operands expression1:Number — A number or expression to be shifted left. expression2:Number — A number or expression that converts to an integer from 0 to 31.

Result int — The result of the bitwise operation.

Example How to use this example The following example uses the bitwise left shift and assignment (<<=) operator to shift all bits one position to the left:

var x:Number = 4; // Shift all bits one slot to the left. x <<= 1; trace(x); // 8 // 4 decimal = 0100 binary // 8 decimal = 1000 binary

Related API Elements << (bitwise left shift) >> (bitwise right shift) >>= (bitwise right shift and assignment)
