This latest upgrade to 115.4.1 "SUPERNOVA" lives up to its name - it blew up my email system.

Thunderbird was working fine until this latest "upgrade" - then it became absolutely useless. Instead of my messages coming up, I get a blank screen. Clicking the button in the top left corner does nothing but start the blue circle spinning, then it just sits there while the server times out. When I - seemingly at random - actually see some messages, clicking on one does nothing. The menu bar seems to be disabled. Do I need to uninstall Thunderbird and convert to Outlook? Or is there a "Downgrade" option? Is it dead, or just in a coma?

For us to better investigate this issue, we will need some more information.

Could you please do the following?

  1. Open the menu Fx57Menu > Help > Troubleshooting Information, then click Copy text to Clipboard.
  2. Go to https://pastebin.mozilla.org/, paste the clipboard by right clicking in the large text area, select paste from the menu, change the retention period to expire in 28 days, use the Paste Snippet button to create a page containing your info, then copy the resulting URL (address) of the page created.
  3. Open a reply to this post, and paste the URL to your troubleshooting information you just copied.
  4. Please also provide results for the following test on your system

Okay, here's the URL of my "snippet": https://pastebin.mozilla.org/0fWLAEhV It does seem to behave better in Troubleshooting mode, with the cache cleared and all extraneous functions suppressed. (At least it was able to retrieve recent mail, which it couldn't do before). Can I run it in this mode permanently?

I didn't try safe mode.
