How can the contents of the local folders (e.g. Topic 1, Topic 2) on 2 PCs in the local network be automatically synchronized? Example: I move a mail in TB on PC 1 from the inbox in account 1 to the local topic 1 folder, and another mail from the account 2 inbox to the local topic 1 folder as well. I would like these two mails in TB on PC 2 to be found there in the local Topic 1 folder.

What do I have to do?

Local Folders can't be synchronized in the same way as IMAP folders, but you can define extra Local Folders locations that are accessible to several computers:

Thank you for your prompt reply.. 1. If both TBs (on PC 1 and PC 2) have the same path to the storage folder (e.g. on a NAS), can both TBs be open at the same time?

2. If the storage folder TB 2 (on PC 2) is shared, it automatically applies all changes to the storage folders of TB 1 (on PC 1), or does TB 2 have to be restarted in order to make the changes of TB 1 visible?

I can't offer specific answers, but a few simple tests should indicate the limitations. Or, consult the add-on's documentation and Issues web page. But the easiest way to share and sync mail between devices is probably still with IMAP setups.

How exactly does it work to synchronize LOCAL folders via IMAP, especially if the mails in the LOCAL folders from e-mail accounts from different providers have been merged (e.g. web.de, yahoo.com or gmx.com)?

You obviously can't sync Local Folders with either IMAP or POP accounts, but if the goal is to access messages from multiple devices, IMAP is preferred. At the same time, there's nothing preventing you from storing mail in Local Folders, but Local means 'the computer on which it is stored', unless you adopt the method provided by the add-on.
