How to get bookmarks and top tool-bar back after the Mozilla Refresh operation.
I did the Mozilla Refresh, the recommendation for which popped up today on my browser. It promised that I would get my bookmarks back - but they AND the top Toolbar are now gone. Tried Mozilla Help but can't see any detailed help on restoring the bookmarks and the top of the window browser tool-bar. (found notes on restoring bookmarks, but without the tool-bar they are not accessible). Need to get those back.

Could you try the toolbars list. This is available in a few different places:
- right-click a blank area of the tab bar, or the "+" button on the tab bar
- tap the Alt key to display the classic Menu Bar temporarily
- click the "3-bar" menu button > Customize > "Show/Hide Toolbars"
Can you get your Menu Bar and Bookmarks Toolbar displayed again?

Also check that "Bookmarks Toolbar items" is on the Bookmarks Toolbar
Open the Customize window and set which toolbar items to display.
- "3-bar" Firefox menu button > Customize
- if "Bookmarks Toolbar items" is not on the Bookmarks Toolbar then drag it back from the Customize palette into the Customize window to the Bookmarks Toolbar
- if missing items are in the Customize palette then drag them back from the Customize window on the toolbar
- if you do not see an item on a toolbar and in the Customize palette then click the Restore Defaults button to restore the default toolbar setup
You can toggle the title bar on/off via the "Title Bar" button at the bottom left in the Customize palette window. You can have the Menu Bar visible via the right-click context menu of a toolbar to have menus like the File menu with Print (Ctrl+P) and Print Preview and the Bookmarks and History and Tools menus.
Thanks jscher2000. The third item did the trick: Clicked on the 3 lines (upper right of window) - then "+Customize" (at bottom of pull down menu) then "Show/Hide Toolbars" and checked "Menu Bar". finally the top tool-bar re-appeared and showed the bookmarks (which I already had restored) as well as the other browser tools.
Thanks for the hints - saved me a lot of 'poking around'.
(maybe Mozilla could have made that easier with an option at the end of Refresh...) - Jchem
