When I lock the screen or the screensaver kicks in, the settings for the theme / skin get reset to the "Default" theme with no skin, instead of my preferred values of the "Noia" theme with the "Dream Swept" skin. This shows up in the Add-Ons Manager under Appearance, with Noia and Dream Swept disabled and Default enabled, and a message that these settings will come into effect when Firefox is restarted. About half the time, the actual skin is changed to be showing Noia's default grey skin.

Each time this happens, I need to go into the Add-Ons Manager under Appearance and change the settings back and then restart Firefox.

This happens at both my work PC (Windows 7) and my home PC (Windows 8.1).

I have tried resetting my profile but this did not fix the problem.

Hi cynthb, Thank you for reporting this issue. At the moment the developer for this "Noia" theme with the "Dream Swept" skin.

If the add on started to do this after a long time use, please run a virus scan. Sometimes a problem with Firefox may be a result of malware installed on your computer, that you may not be aware of.

You can try these free programs to scan for malware, which work with your existing antivirus software:

Microsoft Security Essentials is a good permanent antivirus for Windows 7/Vista/XP if you don't already have one.

Further information can be found in the Troubleshoot Firefox issues caused by malware article.

This did not fix my problem. My system is always fully patched, and I have an active subscription to ESET Nod32 as my antivirus.

Edit: Still doing it, after applying today's Patch Tuesday.
