One out of three times my pc won't load when starting. The little circle appears that shows me something is going on, but then absolutely nothing happens, the screens goes black and the keyboard doesn't work. Eventually (after 5 minutes or so) a window will pop up telling me that conduit plug in is still working. On some occasions another window will pop up and tell me, that windows firewall and my security software are turned off. So in a nutshell: I don't know what this plug in is all about, but it only seems to cause damage on my computer. Where do I find it and how can I disable it? Thanks for your help:-)

  1. Open your Firefox browser and type about:config in address bar
  2. Enter Search and filter it.
  3. Check all strings contents as "CONDUIT" - and rightclick-reset..

Try to use the SearchReset extension to reset some preferences to the default values.

I was a bit scared, when the warning button showed up, but resetting conduit settings worked fine. Thanks a lot for your help. Didn't try the second suggestion 'disabling plugins', so can't comment on it.
