How can a pasted website appear as a hotlink in an email?
I used Yahoo Mail in IE. I converted to Foxfire because people have indicated that ir was more stable. In IE when I pasted a URL or other website into the body of an email, the URL appeared as a hotlink so the recipient could simply clck on it to launch the website. Why is that not possible on Foxfire?

If you paste a link into the compose window, it may not look like a link, but the recipient should see it as a link.
There is usually a button bar with buttons to format text like Bold and Italic just above the text area where you compose and edit the message text.
That toolbar may also have a button to turn a text link into a clickable hyperlink (look for a chain like button).
You can select the link text and click that button to turn the link into a clickable hyperlink.
If you can't find the button then hover them all to check the tooltip of each (e.g. Insert hyperlink).
The attached screen shot illustrates what cor-el is describing. Yahoo! has changed the colors a bit since the attached was assembled, but it's the same process.
