What is the best version for an old Mac OSX 10.3.9? Where from?
After reformatting the hard drive, I have loaded Firefox v 2.00.20.dmg, on my wife's old mac which alerts me to security issues.
I think that newest versions of Firefox do not work on the old mac. Suggestions please.

Swarnava, check again. http://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/3.0/system-requirements/ as it would be a waste of time to try and install Firefox 3.6.25 on the old OSX 10.3.9.
Firefox 3.0 Mac
Operating Systems Mac OS X 10.4 and later.
The last Firefox release to work on OSX 10.2.x to 10.3.x is the old Fx 2.0.0.20.
Fx 3.0, 3.5 and 3.6 required OSX 10.4.x while Fx 4.0 requires 10.5+ and Intel. Originally it was thought that OSX 10.3.9 could support Firefox 3.0 but it was found it was not the case.
