Hi, when I click the Firefox icon on my desktop to open a new page, it opens to a completely blank page. There's nothing on the page and I have to close it and reopen a few times until it starts working. When it actually does work, it's slow to open the webpage. After I click the Firefox icon on my desktop it lags before opening the window to my homepage. Firefox also seems laggy for all the websites I go to. Do you know what's wrong and how I can fix it?

A possible cause is security software (firewall) that blocks or restricts Firefox or the plugin-container process without informing you, possibly after detecting changes (update) to the Firefox program.

Remove all rules for Firefox from the permissions list in the firewall and let your firewall ask again for permission to get full unrestricted access to internet for Firefox and the plugin-container process and the updater process.

I changed my firewall settings to allow Firefox full access but I still keep getting blank pages. It's difficult to describe what the problem is but when I click the Firefox icon on my desktop, all it shows is the bar with the minimize/maximize button and the close button. There's no menu bar, no address bar, nothing.
