Firefox used to show thumbnails of my most recent websites when opening a new tab. These have now disapeared and i only get a blank page. Can i get the thumbnails back?
As above I used to be able to click on the thumbnail of the site i wished to visit and it would take me directly to the website and appropriate page. Now I only get a blank page and I have to enter the website address and then click on the links to get to the actual page which takes longer and I have to remember a the website addresses whereas before I could see a thumbnail of the site.

That isn't a standard feature of Firefox. You had an extension installed that added that feature to Firefox.
Google Toolbar ??
CoolIris Previews ??
That's all that I know of that provide a feature like that.
deleted by a moderator It was a feature of FF4 to emulate Safari. Open a new tab, and you get a choice of previously selected sites. FF5 won't even switch to the new tab automatically, let alone show recent pages.

The thumbnails were not a feature of Firefox. They came from the Google Toolbar, which does not yet work with FF5.
This is a paste from the Google Toolbar help page.
We are aware of Google Toolbar not working in Firefox 5, and we are actively looking into it. We apologize for the inconvenience.
I dislike not having those thumbnails on my work PC - my home one will NOT update to the latest FF until the have sorted it out....also got a problem with no longer having a drop down box adjacent to the back/forward arrow where you can select the page you want to revert to - who wants to go back a page at a time??!!
I will try to find postings on this and rant some more :)
