Im on firefox 3.6 and my problems is that i click on no proxy but everytime the computer restarts it resets to som these proxy settings.

http 127.0.0.1 port 50370

Now i've also tried the delete user.js file but this folder always reapears when i start up the computer again, possibly causing the proxy settings to change.

this all started after a virus/adware. Now ive run malwarebytes and adaware plus Mcafee and they removed the virus as it no longer is causing any problems apart from this. Im also on windows 7.

Right i've solved it for my computer

First make sure you have malwarebytes installed and its up to date. Database version 5152 as of 19.11.10 and run a full scan. I had only been doing quick scans and that doesn't seem to remove everything.
