when I close firefox it doesn't always close and I have to use the taskmanager.

Sometimes when I close firefox it doesn't completly close and I have to close it with taskmanager. I am also having issues trying to open up some bookmarks and sometimes I have to use IE8 to do my business. It won't open windows on my bank websites. It won't allow me to view my phone bill.  ?????
