Multiple different sites not just opened or worked correctly because they say I’m not using Firefox but then when I just tried going to Firefox.com/pair the Firefox site also told me I’m not using Firefox and to download it. So I followed the links to download, even though I was already in Firefox, did the update, and came back to go to Firefox.com/pair but it’s STILL telling me I’m not on Firefox!? Idk what’s happening…..

I took the screenshot in the frame I did so you can see I’ve done the update in the App Store, as well as the fact that I’m in Firefox, but the error message shown says I’m not.

Thank you

I had to delete the screenshot due to personal info showing in it. I thought I was submitting a support ticket, not to a community thread.

But if anyone could help that’d be great!

BTW I’m on a 10th generation iPad running IOS 18 if that helps.

The Firefox app for iOS/iPadOS is basically a shell for Safari due to Apple's restrictions on what browser engine can be used on iOS/iPadOS.

This is also why there are no Firefox Extensions for Firefox on iOS/iPadOS like there are for desktop Firefox (Windows, Linux, macOS) and Firefox for Android which uses Gecko as browser engine. https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/add-ons-firefox-ios

There is a ticket support system here but only for Mozilla's subscription based products like Mozilla VPN and the premium or plus versions of Mozilla Monitor, Firefox Relay, MDM Plus, Pocket,.
